1.3. These Terms govern both buyers and sellers, whether individuals or businesses.

2. Account Registration

2.1. Users must be at least 18 years old to register.
2.2. You agree to provide accurate and current information, including a valid email and phone number.
2.3. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
2.4. Biafia may suspend or terminate accounts that violate policies or laws.

3. Nature of Marketplace

3.1. Biafia is a platform facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers.
3.2. Biafia is not the seller unless specifically indicated. Contracts are between the buyer and the seller.
3.3. Biafia processes orders, payments, and delivery logistics on behalf of sellers.
3.4. Sellers must ensure product listings are accurate and comply with all laws and Biafia policies.

4. Orders, Pricing & Payment

4.1. Prices displayed include any applicable taxes and fees.
4.2. Orders are accepted when payment is confirmed via Biafia’s payment system.
4.3. Biafia supports multiple payment options (cards, mobile money, bank transfer, etc.).
4.4. All payments are held in escrow until delivery confirmation, unless otherwise stated.

5. Delivery

5.1. Sellers are responsible for dispatching items within the stated time.
5.2. Delivery timelines and shipping fees are displayed at checkout.
5.3. Buyers should inspect goods upon delivery and report issues within the specified timeframe.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1. Returns are handled as follows (see full Return Policy below).
6.2. Refunds may be issued as payment reversal, store credit, or transfer, at Biafia’s discretion.

7. Content

7.1. You agree not to post content that is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or infringing.
7.2. Reviews must reflect genuine customer experiences.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

8.1. Biafia does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, error-free operation.
8.2. Biafia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the platform.
8.3. Sellers bear responsibility for the quality, legality, and description accuracy of their products.

9. Termination

9.1. Biafia may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
9.2. Users may deactivate their accounts by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria and applicable West African regulations.
